Fees are set at $240 per clinical hour, in line with current recommendations from the Psychologists’ Association of Alberta. This rate applies to sessions for children and teens, and caregiver consultations.

Family therapy sessions are billed at $280 per clinical hour to reflect the additional complexity and coordination involved in working with multiple family members.

Initial Intake Session

The first session is longer to allow time for a full understanding of your child or family’s background, needs, and goals.

• Duration: 90 minutes (80 minutes clinical time + 10 minutes documentation)

• Session Rate (Family Therapy): $420

Ongoing Therapy Sessions

Follow-up sessions focus on building insight, emotional skills, and meaningful progress in therapy.

• Duration: 60 minutes (50 minutes clinical time + 10 minutes documentation)

• Session Rate (Child, Teen, Young Adult, Parent Sessions): $240

• Session Rate (Family Therapy): $280

As part of the intake process, you’ll be asked to securely enter a credit card to keep on file. Your card will be charged at the end of each session, and a receipt will be provided for your records or insurance reimbursement.

Many extended health benefits plans offer partial or full coverage for psychological services provided by a registered psychologist. Because plans vary, we recommend contacting your insurance provider directly to confirm your coverage details, including any session limits or referral requirements.

I offer direct billing for the following providers and am happy to arrange it with other insurers as needed:

If your plan doesn’t cover the full cost of services, please note that psychological services are considered a tax-deductible medical expense in Canada and may be eligible for reimbursement through your personal income tax return.

We understand life gets busy. You can cancel your session and receive a full refund by contacting us at least 48 hours before your appointment.

Appointments cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice, or missed without notice, will be billed at the full session rate.
